Gabby feels blessed, thanks Sharon

Actor Gabby Concepcion said he really feels lucky for all the blessings he has been receiving since returning to showbiz in March 2008.

"Wala na akong ginawa kung hindi magpasalamat kasi nakikita ko talaga ang blessings, nangyari talaga," Gabby told weekly entertainment show "The Buzz."

Part of Gabby's successful comeback projects were the soap "Iisa Pa Lamang" with Claudine Barretto, Star Cinema's film "I Love You, Goodbye" with Angelica Panganiban, and hit primetime series "Dahil May Isang Ikaw" with Lorna Tolentino.

Gabby is currently preparing for more projects, like his television series "Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo" with Kris Aquino, and his first movie project with daughter KC Concepcion.

"That's upcoming. Yes naging busy talaga, importante talaga na kapag inumpisahan mo ang project you have to be professional," Gabby said.

Aside from acting projects, Gabby also entered the music scene with his music album "Unforgettable," which is now available in all record outlets.

"Unforgettable," which includes the single, Moon River, is under Star Records.

Concepcion believes that he is also being blessed because he is really serious and committed to his work.

As part of his preparations for his upcoming projects, Gabby also shared his secret in keeping a healthy body.

"Basta kumain ka ng mabuti palagay ko, kapag nagdi-diyeta ka, huwag mong ititigil ang kain mo. Kumain ka pa din. Ang kinakain ko madalas ngayon protein. Huwag ka daw magka-carbs, kasi kapag nagka-carbs ka magkakaroon ka ng energy pero madaling nawawala. Ang lakas ko pa ding kumain, so I think it's from the food," Gabby said.

Gabby also thanked his fans and supporters, especially those who watched, "I Love You, Goodbye," an official entry in last year's Metro Manila Film Festival.

Thank you Sharon

Gabby, the former husband of actress Sharon Cuneta, also extended his appreciation to the Megastar for agreeing to be part of his new television drama series.

Sharon has reportedly already agreed to perform the theme of "Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo."

"Thank you, mama Sha," Gabby said.

Just recently, Gabby also greeted Cuneta for her 44th birthday.

Cuneta will mark her birthday through a big concert which will be held at Araneta Coliseum on Tuesday, January 12.

Cuneta, mother of KC, is now married to Senator Francis "Kiko" Pangilinan.
