Encantadia: The Second Saga (Wikipedia)

Encantadia: The Second Saga, is the fourth installment of the popular Encantadia television franchise and was recorded as the first book of the Second Saga. It depicts the story after the death of Arman and Armea in the timeline where Cassandra is still reigning as the queen of Lireo, near to her death.

* Althea – the daughter of Armea and the young Queen of Sapiro.
* Athos – Father of Althea and the king of Sapiro.
* Cielo – the first prince of Lireo. He has the mastery of bow and arrow.
* Jovan – the second prince of Lireo. He is irresponsible and childish. He knows how to use a sword.
* Kia – the daughter of Danaya and Aquil. She was said to be in the woods and was taken by Helena so that the prophecy will come true.
* Ashenti – the twin sister of Helena. She was taken by a dama and was brought to the world of mortals to take revenge.
* Angela – the daughter of the head guard in Lireo who was blessed by Cassandra to be attractive.
* Flamarian – The sixth kind of Encantadian and was created by Emre to end the power of the four gems.
Helena – Helena is the first female Flamarian appeared in the franchise. His vengeful spirit was created by the Dark Ages of Encantadia and the death of many monarchs. She was considered to be the most powerful Flamador. She also absorbed Galatea that made many vengeful spirits came out from Devas. She also wears the crown of Flamara and has a right hand called Vulcana which will guide them in the new world of Encantadia.
Pyr – the second Flamarian appeared in the franchise. He is the father of Mira. Helena resurrected him having the fire gem and blessed him as a legitimate Flamarian.
Ignis – the third Flamarian appeared in the franchise. He was supposedly the son of Agane and Hagorn but was aborted by the first because of the fear her son would be controlled by Hagorn.
Naar or Narcissus – the fourth Flamarian. He was the gift of Emre to Helena. He was given to teach the diwatas to live without the four gems since they had depended on it for a long time. He will try to attract the princess of Sapiro and be the king of the monarch.

Plot
The Prophecy

Years after Emre proclaimed the four Sanggre as goddess status, he observed that the lives of the Encantadian were already depending on the four gems. Since there was peace, there was no war but an imbalance in the world of myth is slowly progressing. The fire gem together with the air gem was held by Cassandra. The water gem was held by Althea, passed by her mother Armea to her. Her father, Athos has an illness which might die anytime soon. She was trying to find Kia to heal her father but the latter warned her that a prophecy might come if they will do this. Althea pushed Kia to use the earth gem to heal the king and days later, Amihan warned Imaw about the prophecy.

Sa pagsalubong sa unang hari ng kahariang silangan, muling magbubuklod ang apat na brilyante ngunit darating ang kawalan upang bawiin ang gilas nito at magdadala ng sakuna sa lupa ng hiwaga. (trans: In the proclamation of the East Kingdom’s first king, the four gems will unite once again but darkness will take away its sharpness and will bring tragedy in the land of mystery.)

When Queen Cassandra knew about it, she became nervous since she doesn’t have a female descendant that should inherit the throne. The God Emre came to her and said that she needs to offer the next child that will bloom in her womb so that the said biggest tragedy in Encantadia will not visit them anymore. Two days later, Cassandra knew that she was pregnant with the Sapirian head guard. She didn’t consult to anybody but only to her dama. On a night, Queen Cassandra gave birth into female twins. Her dama, Nessa has a hidden hatred to the queen because of the queen didn’t help her when she asked help to cure her husband soon to die. She brought the first child that was born to the world of the mortals and lived there so that they will not experience the biggest tragedy on Encantadia.

Cassandra died after she gave birth leaving the youngest Sanggre which was offered to Emre. The Sanggre was taken by Amihan and promised to take care of it. Emre didn’t respond and continued the prophecy since the baby was not the baby he wanted for. He waved his staff and the baby turned into a lady. On the other hand, Ashenti also grew up. Emre blessed the baby and dictated it to live with the kingdom he will create to teach the enkantado how to be independent. Helena stole the fire gem to build the sixth empire in Encantadia and she successfully did. She resurrected some markable diwatas and hathors. Emre gifted her also Naar but instead to be the king of Flamara, he decided to be the king of Sapiro as he was amazed by its walls. Soon, Athos passed the throne to Althea.

Helena should inherit the throne in Lireo but knowing nothing about her past, she planned to conquer the whole Encantadia. On the other hand, the fall of Lireo was predicted by Kia and tried to warned the diwatas but Helena will not let it. Having the earth and fire gems, Helena is the most powerful encantado. In Lireo, the two princes were fighting for the throne. Cielo and Jovan fought for it but Imaw proclaimed no one to inherit the throne. Althea was asked to inherit but she is already ruling Sapiro. Kia was also missing and was thought to be dead. Instead, literate diwatas were assigned to take over the throne until one of the prince had a daughter on the right age but all of the throne’s guardian died because of an illness. The kingdom had decided that it is already time to have a king on the Lirean empire. In the proclamation of the first Lirean King, the powers of the gem disappeared and led to the grand introduction of the sixth kingdom established on Encantadia.

When Helena expressed her plan to conquer the whole Encantadia, Naar disagreead with it. But since he is a Flamarian royalty, he cannot take away his responsiblity as a Flamarian. Althea, on the other hand doesn’t know anything and expressed her support with the kingdom of Lireo. Ignis and Kia had a roller coaster relationship but since their blood floats over everything, they are planning to use each other for the success of their kingdoms, Ignis on Flamara and Kia on Lireo. Besides from the fight between Cielo and Jovan in the throne, they are also both fighting for Angela. This will cause a big rivalry to the both of them. On the other hand, the four Sanggre goddesses was asked by Emre to go down to Encantadia. Mira and Lira joined the visit. When they found out what is happening, they have decided to help those who in need.
